Every film holds a different memory. Commissioning your own artwork brings that memory to life — one original, drawn entirely by hand, that exists only for you.

How It Works

Start by sending me a message through the form below or emailing chantal@chantalhandley.com. Tell me what you'd love to see — a character, a scene, a moment that stuck with you. The more thought and feeling you bring, the stronger the final piece.

From there we'll discuss size, composition, and details until we're both excited about it. Once we agree, a 50% deposit secures your place in the queue. The balance is due on completion, before shipping.

Pricing

Commissions are priced based on size and complexity. Most single-character pieces start from:

A4 size - from $1,400 USD
A3 size - from $1,800 USD
Large scale - from $4,500 USD

All commissions include a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity and free worldwide tracked shipping.

Timeline

Each piece is hand-drawn and takes one to two weeks to complete. There is usually a queue, so please allow up to two months from deposit to delivery. More time means more care - it will be worth the wait.

What You Can Commission

You aren't limited to existing horror characters. Original ideas, historical figures, or deeply personal concepts are all welcome. The only requirement is that my heart is fully invested - this ensures each piece is something meaningful and carefully crafted.

Please note that I will never repeat the same composition. If you've seen a character on my site or Instagram, I'm happy to draw them again, but in a completely different pose and interpretation. Every piece remains one of one.

A Note on Commissions

Don't hesitate to ask for something unusual, delicate, or a little spooky. Artwork can be playful, beautiful, even slightly eerie - but it can also be talismanic, therapeutic, and quietly transformative. It helped me face my fears and discover hidden joys, and it can do the same for you.
